Why are there so many different religions?
Baha’i, Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Shinto, Sikhism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism and others.
Why are there so many Christian denominations?
Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and others.
Possibilites.
1. All religions are wrong. This is why many new religions and denominations are created every year, which add to the confusion about religion.
2. All religions are true. If all religions lead us to the same result, it would not matter what religion we choose.
3. One religion is true. If it does matter what religion we choose, and we choose the the wrong religion, we will be misguided.
Many choose a religion by the country that they live in or the denomination of previous family generations. Some say that they belong to a particular denomination but actually never attend or study the religion. Others don’t even choose a religion, finding the process too hard or not wanting to give up their worldly ways.
Have your say!
